Direct seeder

A fine tooth mounted on a parallelogram,
associated with a starter disc.

Developed by a farmer in eastern France, the PL//SEED seeder is the result of several years of reflection aimed at addressing three specific challenges:

  1. Sow with precision and efficiency regardless of the terrain,thanks to its parallelogram design.
  2. Optimally manage large volumes of residues and vegetation, without compromise, thanks to the integration of an independent opener disc.
  3. Offer total versatility with the ability to sow cover crops and crops, while reducing operating coststhanks to a long-term design.

Options to suit your needs:

PLC offers a double row of combs to ensure the closure of the furrow even in the wettest conditions. The combs also help to limit the pressure from slugs and voles.

  • 12mm tines,
  • Multiple possible aggressiveness settings

Standard, the PL//SEED is equipped with a distribution head. In order to adapt to the different practices employed by farmers in direct seeding, it is possible to optionally add one or more additional distribution heads, which can allow for:

  • Incorporate solid fertilisation in the sowing row
  • Sow seeds of different sizes in the same row
  • Sow associated species, 1 row out of 2 (or more) at different depths

This addition will be accompanied by a 'Y' descent with two exits.

Whether for spreading slug pellets during sowing or for sowing an additional species on the surface using burst trays, it is possible to add a support to attach a micro-granulator.

This means that thearticulation pointsexperienceless degradation due to continuoususe, which significantly extends theiroperational lifespan.

Robustness

We have developed arobust chassiscoupled withresistant elementsto ensure perfect pour garantir une stability.By designing a robust chassis, we define asolidandstablebase for the entire equipment. This is essential towithstand terrain conditions.oftenvariedand sometimesdemandingthat farmers encounter on a daily basis. The whole therefore offers aoptimal sowing regularity.

4 years of work and reflection


For 4 years, we have been working on the design of a direct seeder with teeth, focusing on precise field monitoring to ensure high-quality sowing through the mounting on a robust parallelogram.

This technology has improved the accuracy of direct drilling with tines.

Tested in real conditions


The field tests showed interesting results contributing to cost reduction and more sustainable agriculture.
